AI music? Kill it with fire.
This past weekend I backed into using Suno for the first time ever. I’d been avoiding it on principle, but I needed to bash out background music fast for a project. Suno did a great job at it.
So I thought I would take it for a spin and try to make a record. In my own snarky, tongue-in-check fashion, of course, and approaching it as a referential art piece about the state of AI tools, my own point of view on where music is headed, and what this all might mean in the grand scheme of things as we hurtle towards an AI-accelerated apocalypse.
The result is Absolute Slop (Volume 1), my first (and hopefully last) foray into this madcap world.
