The idea came to me a few months back as I was reveling in the view of this glorious lone peak across the bay from my living room.
I spent thirty years in the grip of the tech mind virus (my answer to a certain billionaire’s anti-woke bugbear), chasing the Silicon Valley dream of fame and fortune.
I did pretty good, actually. But it took its toll. I wisely decided to opt out of tech and heal for a while. By writing songs like this.
It’s gospel rock, with homages to some of my favorite 70’s songs, sung lovingly and joined by my dear friend Lisa Moore on backups. Lisa has an amazing voice! We sing together for fun all the time, usually after too much wine, but this is our first recording together.
